I am very excited to be a part of this great Jazz Festival that includes some of the greatest jazz singers and musicians in the country. I will be performing on the Satellite Stage on Saturday July 20th 4:15 - 5:15 pm. This is a 3 day FREE musical festival that you must come out and enjoy. I will be performing with my quintet, so be sure to stop and say "hello".
The Twin City Harmonizers hold a fund raising event annually for their charity "Harmonize For Speech". This charily focuses on people with severe speaking difficulties. Initially they helped a lot of severe stutterers ( some who had NEVER spoken a work before the age of 4, who have gone on to careers in speech thereapy, social work and other vocations requiring a high level of speech function) Now, they also provide a lot of hi-tech equipment (speech synthesizers etc.) for people with aphasian and people who have lost there voice to stroke and other injury.
I am honored to be a part of and to be able to contribrute to this charity.
